How to install IPTV on Windows, MacBook Pro and macOS

WINDOWS 10 · 11 · MACOS · INTEL · APPLE SILICON

Set up a compatible IPTV player on Windows or macOS using authorized playlist or account details. App features and compatibility vary by operating system and provider.

Before you start

Desktop players differ in login formats, guide support, codecs and operating-system requirements. Confirm the supported player and credential type first, then download the app from an official store or verified developer page.

Windows 10 / 11

  1. Check the Microsoft Store for the player recommended by your authorized provider and verify the publisher and system requirements.

  2. Install and launch the supported version.

  3. Follow the login screen. Some apps show a device ID; others accept authorized M3U or Xtream Codes details directly.

  4. If no Store version is available, use an installer only from the verified developer page and scan it with your security software before running it.

macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon)

  1. Search the Mac App Store or the verified developer site for a player that supports your macOS version, processor and authorized login format.

  2. Review the publisher, privacy details and system requirements, then install and launch the supported version.

  3. Follow the player login flow. VLC can test an authorized M3U playlist, while other account formats require a compatible player.

Add your ipSmart playlist or account

  1. Use the login method shown in the provider instructions and supported by the installed player.

  2. If VU Player Pro is supported, use the portal identified inside its installed app or verified documentation.

  3. If IBO Pro Player is supported, use the portal identified inside its installed app or verified documentation.

  4. If Hot Player is supported, use the portal identified inside its installed app or verified documentation.

  5. Enter the device ID or key only when required, then add the authorized M3U or Xtream Codes details and save.

  6. Refresh or restart the desktop app and allow the initial playlist and guide sync to finish.
